As a dynamic Software Engineer II, you will join our innovative team focused on building cutting-edge software solutions for the operating room (OR) environment. You will design, develop, and enhance software applications for streaming, encoding/decoding, and AV control systems, all while adhering to FDA and internal regulations. This is a hands-on development role with a high degree of ownership, contributing directly to mission-critical product releases.
What you will be doing:
- Design and develop scalable software using Angular, .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Web APIs.
- Translate product requirements into software architecture and design specifications.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate in SCRUM/Agile environments; contribute to code reviews and architecture discussions.
- Ensure software performance, usability, and maintainability meet high standards.
- Coordinate compliance initiatives with regulatory and product strategy teams.
- Support system installations and resolve technical issues in real-time deployment scenarios.
What you bring:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Angular, C#, .NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, Web API, NodeJS.
- Experience developing GUI components and enterprise-level applications.
- Strong understanding of video/media formats and system configurations.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or higher in a technical field.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, shell scripts, or Linux systems.
- Background in security testing and working within regulated environments.
- Familiarity with networking and AV system integration.
