Overview of Position
The CARMa team is looking for an experienced React engineer to build UI for Policy Management, Consent Management. The goal is to have a jazzed up, highly responsive, and informational user experience that will boost productivity and growth of the business. You will work closely with the product owner and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver creative pages and processes. You will also leverage internal UI component library to leverage enterprise standard common UI components.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Build responsive web pages using React
- Design/Build/Test reusable components and contribute back to a company component library.
- Present Beautiful pages of data and collaborate to design a better user experience.
- Collaborate and work closely with product owners and team members
- Learn the user business domain and strive to be a subject matter expert
- Suggest improvements and be willing to change the front-end architecture
- Possibly assist in the design and development of Java APIs to support the front-end pages
- Review team member’s code
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- 6+ years of experience in software development
- 2+ year of experience with React.js, node.js
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
- Experience consuming REST API's and the ability to handle complex data structures/arrays/objects with ease
- Experience with single page apps (SPA)
- Experience working with high levels of data security and protecting against unauthorized access
- Experience with cloud technology (AWS preferred)
- Understanding of GIT and CI/CD practice and tools
- Working in Agile environment
What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
General office demands
New York and New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for New York City, NY and Westchester County, NY is $105,225 – $183,000. The salary range for Ithaca, NY is $91,500 – $152,500. The salary range for Jersey City, NJ is $109,800 – $183,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Change Healthcare offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
