We have an exceptional opportunity for an IT Specialist-System Support team member to provide technical assistance and support for queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.
What does an IT Specialist-Support team member do?
•Manage installation of cloud and line-of-business applications
•Engage priority support resources and work with them to resolve critical cloud infrastructure issues and line-of-business application problems
•Administer continuous data quality processes for all databases, line-of-business applications and the helpdesk system
•Administer network security using Microsoft Active Directory
What does it take to be an IT Specialist-Support team member?
•Bachelor’s in Science degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, and
•Two (2) years of computer and systems support experience; or
•Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
•Applicable /relevant technical knowledge
•Ability to work independently
•Excellent written and verbal skills
For this opportunity, we seek candidates with:
•Experience in a helpdesk environment or one providing direct support to end-users
•Experience working with a Helpdesk Ticketing System (e.g., Spiceworks, System Center, Capterra, ZenDesk)
•Experience working as a network administrator
•Microsoft Training and Certifications related to Windows Operating Systems, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Azure and Office 365
•Experience in CP/IP Troubleshooting skills (Connectivity, DNS, DHCP)
•Experience in configuring and testing Windows VPNs
•Experience in preparing new laptop/desktop operating systems for deployment, including joining them to the AD Domain
•Experience in administration of Active Directory Accounts
•Experience in Veritas Backup Exec, monitoring backup jobs and troubleshooting failures
