A hospital in the Medical Center of Houston is looking to bring on a Sr. Applications Analyst to join their team. This person will be responsible for the support and configuration of assigned applications and systems such as CDMS, REDCap, Trinadex, etc. They will assist, train, and support customers and Jr. analysts with operation and administrative duties. This person will need to research, architect and deploy a variety of 3rd party products and possibly integrates with electronic equipment/applications in a Hospital Research environment. They will setup applications on Windows and Linux based computer systems, in addition to setting up servers and databases. Responsibilities will include creating documentation and assist in user training. High proficiency in the Linux operating system, including scripting languages such as bash. They will need to be proficient in building, installing, and configuring a variety of open-source Linux software packages, especially with complex dependencies, installing SQL Server databases.

Java Experience

REDHat Experience
4+ years as an Application Support Analyst (end users)

Advanced experience building installations and scripts within Linux

Database experience with MySQL or SQLServer

Experience with Application support and development

Bachelor's degree

Training and Guidance support experience
