Overview:
Our Gallagher Benefit Services division continues to grow and as part of that, we have a newly created position open for a Senior Business Analyst, Financial & Retirement Services. In this role, you will work closely with the highest levels of our Financial & Retirement Services business line, along with the technical implementation teams. This is a very high-visibility role in a highly entrepreneurial environment – if you thrive in that type of setting and have a few years (or more) of relevant experience, we would love to meet you.
This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US or Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the business to identify opportunities for driving productivity and effectiveness through technology, data, and process improvement.
- Manage the product roadmap, prioritization, release planning, and delivery of key features for the business processes and technologies you oversee.
- Lead complex technical projects, overseeing requirements gathering, research, technical design, solution development, testing, deployment, documentation, and user enablement.
- Effectively communicate strategy, technology roadmaps, options and trade-offs of technical solutions, and project progress and risks to executive stakeholders.
- Analyzes business processes, identifies process deficiencies, researches solutions and plans and coordinates the remediation of these deficiencies
- Partner with business stakeholders to define and document business cases for new initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Strong intellectual curiosity
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of related experience required; industry experience nice to have
- M&A integration and/or transformation experience highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including with the highest levels of the organization
- Excellent presentation skills and comfort interfacing with senior leaders
- Ability to directly influence without authority
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
