Insight Global is seeking an ETL/Data Engineer for a client in the south Houston, Texas area. This candidate will work collaboratively as a senior member of the Business Intelligence & Reporting team. He or she will develop ETL, data solutions, and supports the data warehouse and reporting systems. This individual will acts as a project lead or team member on multi-team projects and uses advanced skill set to develop, test, troubleshoot, and support BI and reporting-related projects and associated solutions/applications. In addition, this ideal person will acts as mentor to others learning essential and advanced BI and/or reporting-related skills.

MS SQL-related Certifications

Spark and/or Python experience
4+ years of experience within a Data Engineer role

Strong experience with ETL development

Previous experience within SSIS and SQL Server integration

Strong understanding of data warehousing

Previous experience working within an on prem environment
