Sr. Java/Angular Developer (Hybrid)

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Java Developer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. Responsibilities

• Define standards and best practices.
• Create POCs to evaluate tech stack, frameworks and approaches.
• Coordination with offshore teams.
• Help team in deriving the right solution.
• Working in a highly collaborative environment in Agile Sprint model.
• Supporting the front-end team to resolve UI dependencies and hand-over to Offshore and guide / advise the client teams & offshore teams in UI best practices implementation.
• Need hands on lead, JAVA background with/without cloud experience, spring, microservices.
• Ready to work on complex system, also play some of the other roles required by the team.
• SAFE knowledge who is hands on technical delivery with cloud/API/engineering background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
• Java experience on microservices.
• 8 to 12 years’ experience in the design, development of Java / J2EE and angular applications.
• Delivered J2EE project.
• Used Jira/backlog management/DevOps tools, rapid releases, B/G deployments etc.
• Nice to have flow metrics.
• Good communication.
