We’re growing our technology team and are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to help us modernize our software architecture. - Use tools, languages, coding standards and best practices to develop new product features and maintain year over year product functionality and enhancements.
- Create and execute unit tests and addresses defects.
- Work closely with the QA, UX and other related teams to ensure consistent understanding of requirements and approach.
- Assist in planning and implementation of a strategic direction for the product.
- Identify product design features to support scalability, usability, and better performance.
- Assist and drive technical design and code reviews for all new enhancements and maintenance work delivered by the development team.
- Understand complex business and functional requirements and produce technical specifications and product requirements.
- You’ll also mentor and coach other team members on the latest technological advances within the current technology used and establish consistent best practices.
- Using Ping Identity solutions, design, develop and support solutions to strengthen H&R Block’s Identity and Access Management systems that can integrate with other internal and external systems
- Perform Ping Identity Product Management responsibilities like installing, configuring and supporting products like PingFederate, PingDirectory, and PingOne
- Build application components that are required for providing Observability and Monitoring of systems
- Work with Product Management, Principal Engineer, Architects and other developers to understand design requirements, perform work breakdown, and provide development estimates in an agile work environment.
- Configure and maintain DevOps tools and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development pipelines for the deployment and integration of code
- Implement Security and other best practices that are required for the Identity and Access Management systems, which includes but not limited to resolving security vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance with data security standards.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance team in identify test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processes.
- Perform research and development of new technologies and product features, working with vendor teams and professional services as required
- Fix production issues and provide production related support to product teams, customer support and other stakeholders.

- Experience with Ping Directory, Ping Federate and Ping One.
- Experience building and working with Ping Federate custom adapters and policies.
- Experience with Ping Directory Identity Management, or LDAP/Active Directory concepts.
What you’ll bring to the team…
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum five years of recent experience in development, unit testing and troubleshooting of large applications primarily within the .NET framework using C# language.
- Experience developing engineering solutions to meet functional & non-functional requirements.
- Full-stack development experience using C# and Angular.
- Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming languages (C# and/or Java).
- Knowledge of OAuth2.0 and federated SSO solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with Azure DevOps platform including source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments.
- Experience working with .Net Core microapps, microservices and MS SQL Server.
