Sr. Software Engineer/Developer (Full stack: React, C# & *******)

The Senior Applications Engineer is responsible for hands-on development of Medidata’s software applications.
Develop software applications and associated artifacts such as unit tests, installation programs and test automation code.
Apply good technical practices such as re-factoring, continuous integration, test automation, source code control and review.
Provide diagnostic support and bug fixing for software applications.
Provide technical guidance, training and support to other engineers.
Follow Medidata’s Standard Operating Procedures to ensure all software meets regulatory and company requirements.
Work with Agile team members, particularly Software Quality Assurance and Product Management, to write clear, concise and comprehensive feature files.
Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives.
Provide accurate and complete problem resolution documentation for future reference and management reporting
Take part in the creation and maintenance of knowledge-base data
Full-stack development, deployment, and testing in at least one modern web platform with preference to C#, ******* MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, AngularJS/React and RESTful API
Hands-on experience of building SPA with contemporary web application architecture
Deep knowledge of programming paradigms with a focus on Object Oriented Programming
Proficiency of Git in a shared team development environment
Working knowledge of CI/CD
Proficient in TDD and BDD from unit test to end-to-end test
Practiced at ramping up quickly in new languages and frameworks
Adept at simplifying complex codebases with concern toward maintainability
Experienced in Agile and DevOps practices
Communicate clearly and effectively across the organization
Your Education & Experience:
5+ years of overall software development experience
3+ years of experience developing/maintaining production application with the following:
o C#/******* MVC
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent experience
Experience working in a regulated environment preferred
Experience with clinical research processes preferred
Experience working with Agile methods such as Scrum preferred
