Responsibilities

Serves as the Quality Control Program manager for the Technical Operations Western Service Area. This position reports to the Technical Services Manager, Technical Operations within the Western Service Area. This position works closely with the National Technical Operations Quality Control Program Manager to implement and integrate the Quality Control program components within the Technical Operations organization. This position partners with Western Service Area Quality Control Group (QCG) to identify requirements and develop processes for full implementation and continued support of the Technical Operations Quality Control Program.

US Citizenship is required.
Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)

This temporary assignment may be extended, but may not be made permanent.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J or FG/GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: Understanding the purpose and function of the Technical Operations organization; understanding of the purpose and function of the Quality Control Group (QCG); and experience with the Federal Aviation Administration’s Quality Control program.
Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.
