ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area.  In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Manually update security/Office patches for 20+ standalone desktops/laptops that use Win10, Windows Server 2016 and Windows 11 through patches released through DOD Repository and up to IVAMs guidelines on LatteArt, manage licenses for SSP machines
  • Document updates in Excel spreadsheet that were installed and to which machines they were installed on
  • Perform DTA abilities (including Virus Scanning) for patches to be moved from repository to standalone machines on both High and Low Side test machines
  • Perform Quarterly Login Audits on 30+ machines including older machines that use Windows XP and 2000 as well as compliance checks
  • Keep up to date Nessus Manager License yearly for compliance checks software
  • Make/organize articles for How to Steps, License activation logs, IVAM patches logs, License distribution logs, etc.
  • Create and maintain accounts on standalone machines for users in offices
  • Assist ISSO with maintaining SSP updates

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.  Additional five (5) years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree. 
  • 5 years’ of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • IAT I certification (Security +)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 of how to update manually and how to create accounts on machines.
  • DTA experience
  • Excel

Clearance Requirements:

  •  Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
