ECS is seeking a Systems Administrator to work in our Washington, D.C.

Tier III Desktop Engineering support handles the most difficult and
Performs expert-level troubleshooting and analysis of issues and
problems for desktop problems associated with hardware, software,
patch deployments (e.g., Bigfix/SCCM), and Active Directory:
installing, testing, troubleshooting, de-installing, maintaining,
supporting computer software, hardware, networked and standalone
computers, and computer hardware peripherals (e.g., scanners,
printers, PDAs, external storage devices.).
Working knowledge of IT security, best practices, methodologies and IT
security based products and tools, e.g., PKI Certificates, BitLocker,
Experience with Incident/Problem Management processes and tools, e.g.,
ServiceNow, ITSM, Remedy, Remote Desktop support tools (e.g., Bomgar)
Other Engineering duties and roles, as assigned.
* (7) years of experience in Information Technology (IT) Help Desk
Support for MS Operating Systems (Desktop including Windows 10 and
server OS), MS Office applications (including O365), networking,
and Active Directory.
* Managing directory infrastructures, such as AD OU and object
administration, login scripts, group policy updates, print and
server resource management.
* Network printer management: network printers installation;
creating, updating, renaming, deleting, troubleshooting and
configuring server print queues and ports, and printers
* System security principles and concepts; including McAfee Endpoint
protection, desktop security vulnerability investigation and
* Incident/Problem Management tracking systems, such as ServiceNow
and Remedy ticketing system.
* Excellent communication skills
* Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
* Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
