Our Orlando, Florida site is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (SE) to perform a Systems Engineering development lead role. You will be responsible for leading the systems engineering team in performing trades, analyses, requirements trace, gap assessment, support-to-production, technology development, Bid and Proposal support, and test planning and resource allocation.
This role has critical influence over technical decisions, aligning staff to meet dynamic critical needs, and providing sound technical leadership in the execution of program efforts.
You will be responsible for system design, planning, and execution of F-35 Electro-Optical Targeting System (EOTS) Development. Activities include management of a multi-disciplined team to achieve system design, integration, SIL integration, and off-site flight tests. Requires effective communication skills as you will be interfacing and presenting at technical reviews with program management, industry partners, and customer. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling and perform cost account manager (CAM) duties of multiple IPT owners.
You must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain access onto Special Access Programs (SAP), so these SE lead responsibilities can be worked in both open and closed area environments.

Must demonstrate the ability to perform some combination of the following Requirements Definition assignments:
• Perform requirements definition of achievable design characteristics for an objective system.
• Synthesize design characteristics into an implemental system architecture.
• Flow system level requirements to testable structures and modular hardware and software using DOORS.
• Perform trade studies and Risk and Opportunity Management analyses.
• Define and track Technical Performance Measures (TPM's).
• Perform detail system verification activities including definition of verification methodology.
• Generate and execute a Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
• Define system tolerances and timelines.
• EO design experience
• Requirements Architecture experience in mature programs
• Cost Account budgeting experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
