The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Technical Lead – Java to serve our diverse base of global clients.  As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business.  An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team.  Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.

Location: Franklin Lakes – NJ

Responsibilities:

·       Lead the PBM Modernization team on delivering the agreed deliverables

·       Lead/Mentor the POD teams

·       Liason any technical challenges and process challenges with the client and CTS team and mitigate them

·       Should be strong in Java Spring boot, Microservices and in any of the cloud platforms (Open shift PCF)

·       Track and contributes strongly towards the community charter of delivering superior engineering outcomes

·       Delivering superior engineering outcomes

·       Responsible mentoring for junior team members

·       Honing individual engineering competency

·       Active participation in talent acquisition

·       Demonstrating responsible people management

·       Clearly undestrand community career lattice and be able to explain the same to team members

Required Skills:

·       10 – 13 yrs of development experience

·       Java, Microservices, Spring boot

·       Redhat/Openshift

·       Hibernate

Nice to Have skills:

·       MongoDB

·       Oracle
