Current Need
The Technical Support Engineer II position will be part of team responsible for supporting multiple customer facing business applications that make up the ClearanceEDI platform, also known as the Exchange.
This is a 2nd shift position, from 4 PM 1 AM, with possibility to fully work from home remotely after an initial training period of 2-3 months.
The incumbent should have a good working knowledge of Cloud technologies, automation frameworks, and a good understanding of the technology stack that drives all MHS product lines. This role will handle application deployments and updates as well as coordinate app shutdown/startup during system patching. They will resolve alerts generated from our monitoring systems. They will help solve application trouble tickets and help improve our documentation, monitoring, and automation.The Technical Support Engineer works with management and team to coordinate and prioritize team efforts toward projects and support. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements2+ years experience in software engineeringCritical Skills Able to work independently 2+ years experience with using Linux 2+ years experience with automation products such as Jenkins Ability to quickly learn both concepts and new technology details as we cover a wide range of application platformsAdditional Knowledge & Skills In depth knowledge for any/all of the following useful: TIBCO suite, CA suite, java, EDI Documentation experience Experience with HP monitoring tools, like SiteScope, BSM/APM, BPM, RUM, etc Prior healthcare experience a plusEducation4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experienceCertifications/Licensure Any relevant would be a plus
