Technical Support Specialist – Revit, Architecture Technical Support Specialist Revit, Architecture Role Description The Technical Support Specialist s primary goal is to provide technical support to all end users of Overtur at the moment of need that is, when they call in for help. Our end users include people in project design, delivery, construction, or facility management. The assistance provided must be comprehensive and holistic and follow through to proper resolution, either through direct interaction with the end user or by personally handing the end user and issue off to another specialist who can better assist, whether due to time constraints or technical area of expertise. This position reports to AEC Platform Manager in the US. Responsibilities Provide demonstrations, training, and technical support, on site and through web meetings as required. Interact and work with internal and external customers. Use advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete work, with little direction at times. Work closely with the all members of the Overtur team continuing to provide proper support tracking and documentation of needs and requirements for the continued development direction of Overtur and associated Allegion BIM related plug-ins in development. Provide demonstration and training materials as required by the Overtur teams. Support Document all problems and assist in their continued resolution, providing customer support. Follow-up with resolutions in a timely manner. Provide clear resolution documentation of problems encountered. Provide continued support efforts for all aspects of Overtur. Log incident issues into support tracking software. Attend weekly touchpoint meetings with corporate Overtur Support to discuss feedback, incident reports, development roadmap, etc. Qualifications College degree preferred 4 or more years of experience in the building design and/or construction industry required. Must be highly proficient with computers and web applications and be able to learn new applications quickly. Highly passionate for innovating technologies and processes. Fluent with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications Accurate, detail-oriented. Ability to work independently with minimal direct management and/or guidance, yet strong ability to work with a team Excellent verbal, personal, and communication skills Ability to travel up to 30%. Location Anywhere in the United States. Required to work remotely with team members in the USA and other countries where Overtur is supported and used.
