As a Technical Writer on this team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and refining technical documentation for a cutting-edge developer platform. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and support teams, ensuring the clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness of all developer-facing content. Your work will directly impact the success of developers building for this exciting platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain software and hardware documentation for developers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to guarantee content quality.
  • Design, write, and edit technical and process documentation.
  • Facilitate software release and adoption through effective documentation.
  • Support multiple programming languages and development platforms.
  • Develop and maintain code samples and sample applications.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience writing technical documentation for engineers.
  • Experience with programming languages like C++ or similar.
  • Proficiency in Markdown content formatting.
  • Ability to interpret and explain code examples to users.
  • Experience using source control for content management and publishing.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or English or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with VR/MR concepts and technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and take ownership.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to coordinate deadlines across teams.
  • Experience automating documentation processes.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $71.90 to $79.89 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
