Technical Writer with Teamcenter

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Technical Writer with Teamcenter to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the documentation team supporting various engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer with Teamcenter

Location: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid – three days in the office, two days remote)

What’s the Job?

  • Identification, collection, creation, process, edit, create, and management of program technical data items including technical documentation such as test plans, acceptance procedures, and reports.
  • Manage contractual data item submittals and reporting to internal and external customers.
  • Work with Project Engineering to plan, organize, edit, and create technical documents, specifications, and reports in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate and expedite the release of technical documents/data items into Teamcenter to ensure on-time delivery of contractual data item submittals.
  • Collaborate with program personnel, such as Program Management, Project Engineering, and Configuration Management.

What’s Needed?

  • Associated Bachelor’s Degree or applicable work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Copy Editor and/or a Technical Writer with practical experience using Microsoft Word and Adobe.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Copy Editor with practical experience using Microsoft Word and Adobe.
  • Experience working with Teamcenter.
  • Experience working with/on military or government contracts.
