Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Application Programmer V) to join their team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be part of the technology department supporting critical applications that address financial crimes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Software Developer (Application Programmer V)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $65 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Develop complex requirements and enhance existing applications in the Financial Crimes technology domain.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs while supporting application maintenance activities.
- Collaborate closely with business partners to define system application requirements.
- Contribute to the full development lifecycle, including story refinement and estimating work necessary for delivery.
- Implement and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines while managing technical aspects of applications.
What’s Needed?
- 10+ years of applicable experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Teradata 16.x, SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, Informatica 10.x, and UNIX Shell scripting.
- Strong data sourcing, data analysis, and modeling skills, particularly related to financial crimes data.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with business stakeholders for requirement discovery.
