Test Engineer

Full Time Stafford VA ManTech

ManTech seeks a Test Engineer to help support our current Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager Intelligence & Cyber Operations Contract in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of innovative test automation frameworks and strategies for complex tactical intelligence collection, processing, and
    dissemination equipment.

  • Analyze system requirements and design specifications to develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and cases covering functional, performance, and security aspects.

  • Champion the integration of digital engineering principles and tools into the testing process, including model-based testing, automated test generation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Establish and maintain traceability between system requirements, test cases, and performance metrics to ensure complete test coverage and provide objective evidence for system acceptance.

  • Conduct various types of testing, including but not limited to integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and performance testing, utilizing both manual and automated techniques

  • Support the Engineering Change Proposal process by reviewing proposals, assessing their impact on system testability, and participating in Change Review Board/Configuration Control Board activities

  • Develop and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and simulated systems, to closely mirror real-world operational scenarios.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of related automated test engineering experience. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies

  • Experience with various testing tools and techniques, including but not limited to Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, and LoadRunner

  • Familiarity with digital engineering principles and tools, such as model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and SysML

  • Experience in establishing and maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases, and performance metric

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of DoD/USMC garrison and tactical environments

  • Experience with tactical intelligence systems and technologies

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • DAU Engineering (or related field) Level I or higher certification

  • DoDD 8140/8570 compliance and certification

  • Agile Scrum Master certification

  • Prior military intelligence experience (enlisted or officer)

Clearance Required:

  • Must have an Active TS/SCI
