NDI Engineering Company is seeking preferably Electrical but will consider Computer or Mechanical Engineers to provide engineering support for NAVSEA Division 432, Advanced Weapons Elevator (AWE) Program.

Job Responsibilities

Code 432 is responsible for installation, test, evaluation, engineering and fleet support for the Navy's AWE on board the Gerald R. Ford Class aircraft carriers.

In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to this new technology. This position includes the operation of the AWE Land Based Test Site in the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

Education and Experience Requirements

Mid-level Engineer:

Target Education: Bachelor's level degree in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.

Target Experience: Seven (7) years' professional experience related to general engineering principles such as, but not limited to, sensors, data analysis, modeling / simulation with Matlab, Simulink, Ansys or similar software, probability and statistics.

Signal processing experience is a plus.

Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance.

Have strong verbal and written communications skills.

Work location is NAVSEA, Philadelphia, PA Navy Yard.
