What you'll do…
The Identity and Access Development team is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer who is motivated to deliver innovative solutions utilized by Walmart associates worldwide. You will work alongside a team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain our suite of Identity and Access Management products.

What you'll do:
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will:
- Develop new features and enhancements for our Identity products
- Design and implement solutions that align with business needs and goals
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize query performance
- Troubleshoot bugs and find opportunities for automation and simplification
- Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and business needs
- Drive innovation and improvements within the identity space
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members
- Design solutions
What you'll bring:
- At least 4 years experience writing and tuning complex SQL queries for relational databases
- At least 4 years experience developing in preferably C# and/or Java. Proficiency in other languages is accepted.
- Familiarity with the CI/CD pipeline
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once
