Vice President, Application Developer Lead (190104538) Columbus, OH.
Duties: Responsible for leading and executing the software delivery demand for Chase Consumer and Community Bank to align with the bank’s architecture strategy. Create, transform and migrate middleware services by leveraging the cloud and microservices architecture platforms. Enable and promote strong collaboration with business and technical partners. Lead a scrum team of 6-7 software delivery professionals and report on team progress. Ensure the team exercises best coding practices to build secure codes, unit test code coverage using Test Driven Development Methodology, and quality assurance automation using Cucumber.
Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in software delivery, or related experience.
Skills required: Experience in Object Oriented Programming, including C# and Java. Experience with XML. Demonstrated knowledge of Web/Microservices. Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS), including Oracle, DB2, Entity Relationship Design, SQL, and DDL. Experience with full end-to-end software delivery. Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Paired Programming. Experience with test driven development, Nunit and Junit. Experience with code version control, including Bitbucket and SVN. Experience with troubleshooting using tools for logging software and server monitoring, including IIS, Wily, and Dynatrace.
