Duties: Creating next-level solutions software robots that systematically test products for quality. Use technical expertise to help our team raise the bar on agile practices, team velocity, technical designs, meet our technical standards, adhere to regulations, stay within risk policies, and protect the firm from cyber security threats – as well as satisfy both business and functional requirements. Apply expertise in various technology domains to set strategic direction and solve complex technical & infrastructure challenges, and address mission critical problems, internally and externally. Work effectively within the organization and our partners through our global network of technologists to leverage other expertise and partner on multi-disciplinary projects.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Application Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the position offered or as a Software Engineer, Application Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years of experience with: developing unattended software robots with artificial Intelligence and machine learning using Spark at a scale with millions of system interactions a day; developing production grade technology frameworks and micro services used by other developers at scale; developing software robotics platforms using orchestration software including Docker, MacOS, and Windows using Browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, IE, IOS, Android, ESX, other common cloud device, and OS technologies; interacting effectively with executive leadership, coaching junior staff, and driving organization’s change initiatives; developing unattended automation using programs including Shell, Python, Groovy, and other common Linux based scripting languages; Linux OS administration and change management practices; working on Java design patterns with a focus on extensibility and pluggability for mass distribution to thousands of developers; deploying real time streaming of data sensors and log analysis pipelines including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Kafka; Appium, Selenium, Browser Drivers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and IE; Device Drivers including IOS, Android, PC, and Mac; and BDD Gherkin test automation.
