Position Summary

Identity Access Administration is a sub-discipline within Identity Access Management (IAM), Information Security. This role is responsible for providing leadership direction for identity security controls and ensuring proper access is provided to the right person, at the right time, and for the right reason. The Manager – Identity Access Administration is tasked to successfully execute a variety of daily tasks with proper prioritization for both a team and as an individual with the primary responsibility of day-to-day user access operations.

What You’ll Do

Player/coach role managing a team of Tier 2 Identity Access Analysts across various deliverables:

  • Reviewing and fulfilling various access management requests and escalations and identify opportunity for automation

  • Defining and enforcing SLAs for multiple Access Management processes

  • Manage and address escalation patterns from tier 1 IAM support team

  • Drafting IS-IAM policy aligned responses to regulatory audit findings in partnership with the IGA manager.

  • Delegating action items to direct team with a shift-left mindset

  • Deliver meaningful metrics to identify process gaps and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Build, manage, and lead an experienced operations team 

Assist the project IAM Engineering team in:

  • Planning roadmap activities that are aligned with current IT-IS standards & policies

  • Recommending new or update existing role-based-access controls to align to business risk appetite and technology advantages

  • Selecting or updating identity management & governance tools and standards that meet business and regulatory compliance requirements

Advance the Identity Access Administration team by:

  • Developing and reviewing relevant KPI/KRI dashboards and identify macro trends

  • Representing Access-Management remediation activities

  • Demonstrating advanced understanding of business process, risk management, and access governance controls

  • Assisting the Privileged Access Management team with account access incidents on PAM tool

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Solid understanding of IT/IS standards and policies

  • Intermediate-to-advance experience in Identity tools such as Sailpoint Identity IQ, Sailpoint IdentityNow or equivalent

  • Intermediate experience with ServiceNow or equivalent

  • Manager-level communication skills

  • Advanced understanding of user lifecycle management
