precision. We are looking for an experienced CNC programmer to join our
team. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in CNC Programming
and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Avon Lake, Ohio
Hours: M-F 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, on-site
As a CNC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in our
manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of our CNC
machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming,
set-up, and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality components
according to specifications.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop CNC programs using CAM (e.g., Mastercam) software based on engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Accurately and comprehensively document all machining activities,
including setup procedures, tooling changes, and production logs. - Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine the most effective machining methods and tooling.
- Produce precision parts using CNC machines, such as lathes, mills, and routers.
- Quality inspection of machined components is conducted by using
precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to
verify conformance to specifications. - Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work
environment in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC programmer in a
manufacturing environment, electrical components, or related industries a
plus. - Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) and G-code programming.
- Solid knowledge of geometric dimension and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Strong understanding of machine processes, tooling selection, and CNC machine operations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
