Maxar is seeking a Database Manager to support our mission within USSOCOM’s Intelligence Directorate. You will assist in managing SOCOM personnel access to sensitive information across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. You will also assist the Intelligence Directorate in understanding and visualizing the various activities that SOF personnel are engaged in around the world.
Most valuable is your ability to manage large amounts of data, engage with both clients and exterior organizations, and work with both senior and mid-ranking military and government personnel.
As a seasoned, experienced professional, with deep knowledge of your area of specialization, you will resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. This critical role works on problems of diverse scope and offers engaging opportunities to directly impact high-level decision making.
Responsibilities:

Tracking personnel access to sensitive programs and activities across the Headquarters and Theater Special Operations Components.

Maintain spatial data layers to support data integration.

Assist in the integration of personnel access rosters and obtaining individual program accesses for Command personnel by engaging with multiple DoD Commands and other Government agencies.

Refine and export complex algorithmic data results into user-friendly analytical products for simplified understanding.
Required Qualifications:
-
Current/active TS/SCI security clearance.
-
At least 5 years of experience with the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.

5 years of experience with developing, manipulating, and maintaining relational databases.

1 year of experience using COTS/GOTS geospatial tools.

Experience creating visualizations of analytic products or datasets.

Experience creating info graphics for visualization of geospatial data.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Multi-year experience as managing sensitive programs or activities.

Advanced degree in intelligence analysis or statistics.

Strong understanding of mathematics and statistical modeling.

Experience in working with the Intelligence Community and familiarity with all intelligence disciplines.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. To accommodate all locations, we have listed the bottom to the top of the possible range, and will share the target range for a specific location during the recruiting discussion. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$78,000.00 – $166,000.00 annually.
