We are seeking a talented individual to join the team as a Tableau Developer. In this role, your job will consist of creating interactive data visualizations. Within the DCR Data Center of Excellence, you will work on various data, all related to the DCR domain fields (Commercial Excellence, Services, Pricing & Quotation, Customer Engagement, Web/Mobile Experience, Customer Support, etc. This role requires a strong understanding of data visualization principles, SQL, and experience with Tableau and/or similar tools.

 

Main responsibilities:

• Advanced Visualization: Creating complex, interactive visualizations and dashboards that leverage advanced features for in-depth data analysis.
• Performance Tuning: Optimizing workbooks and dashboards for efficient performance, particularly with large datasets and complex calculations. (CoE Transversal activities)
• Data Architecture: Designing and implementing robust data architecture to support visualizations, including data modeling and schema design.
• Training and Mentoring: Providing guidance and training to other team members on advanced techniques and best practices. (CoE Transversal activities)
• Integration and Automation: Integrating Tableau with other systems and tools and automating data refreshes and dashboard updates.
• Innovation and Best Practices: Staying updated with the latest features and industry best practices to drive innovation in data visualization and analysis.

 

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Advanced Tableau Proficiency: Extensive experience in developing complex dashboards, visualizations, and calculated fields using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• SQL and Data Expertise: Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Data Integration: Experience in integrating Tableau with diverse data sources and databases, and knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex data and visualization challenges.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities to collaborate with stakeholders, understand their requirements, and present insights clearly.
