Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Location: St Petersburg, FL

Pay Range: $22

Shift: 1st shift 5:45am-2pm

What’s the Job?

  • Perform functional quality tests on materials accurately, efficiently, and within designated timeframes.
  • Record and report inspection results, failure analysis, material discrepancies, and defect data using SAP and other databases.
  • Conduct detailed visual inspections to assess product quality, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Coordinate with production line technicians and supervisors when nonconformances are identified or limits are exceeded.
  • Analyze data, create reports for metrics and trending, and perform root cause failure analysis to improve quality processes.

What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or quality environments.
  • Knowledge of ISO9000
  • Knowledge of quality inspection practices, techniques, and use of calipers /micrometers 
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
