Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Angular Developer w/AWS a to serve our diverse base of global clients. Location: McLean, VA or NYC (Hybrid- 3 days a week onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Web UI development using Angular JavaScript, and backend Node JS and unit testing framework Jasmine and Karma
• Working with Cloud – AWS (FARGATE, ECS, EC2, S3, R53, RDS, IAM, LAMBDA, VPC)
• Utilize programming languages like Node.js, Angular. Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.
• Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of People achieve financial empowerment.
• Effective Client communication
• Should be able to work on both Frontend and Backend technologies like AngularJS and Node

Required Skills:

• Overall software development experience is 7+ years
• 6+ years of hands on AngularJS development experience and 2+ years of working experience with AngularJS 11+
• Experience in writing unit tests using Jasmine and Karma
• 4+ years hands on experience on AWS ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3 and SQS
• Experience in Agile practices
• Must be analytical, good team player and self-motivated

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in Financial Domain
• Handson experience in Node.js, REST API, 12-factor microservice principles
• Experience in writing Node JS unit tests using Jest, Mocha
• Handson experience in Java
• Experience in writing unit tests Junit, Mockito
• Hands on experience in Jquery, Jscript
• Hands on experience/Knowledge in AWS Fargate

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 – $146,200 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
