Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer II for one of our largest clients in Cleveland, OH. The candidate will be on a team comprised of developers, business analysts and quality assurance resources responsible for the full software stack of a suite, mainly working on a CPP (Commercial Package Policy) modernization project, modernizing the code company-wide. Developers will help design, implement, and document new functionality as well as make updates to a large existing code base. The team utilizes an AGILE Software Development Process and works in 2-week sprints while meeting daily to discuss progress and make sure there are no impediments. This role will be based out of Cleveland, OH, but has the capability of being fully remote.

Insurance/financial industry experience

Heavy API experience (ability to implement APIs and offer best practices)

Experience working in Agile environments
2-5 years of professional work experience

Strong experience with . NET languages (C#, . Net Core, VB. net)

SQL experience

Familiarity with APIs

Analytical background

Experience using Git for Source Control
