The Technology Services Group Manager is responsible for the management of Technology Support Group applications across Carilion. The Technology Services Group Manager manages daily operations including providing services and support to all clients, managing staff, contact with vendors, and implementation of policies and procedures. Provides input to tactical and strategic goals. Champions change and provides excellent client service and support.

Education: B.A., B.S. or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare business or equivalent experience required.
Experience: A combination of ten years application and management experience in customer service, projects, and staff leadership required.
Other: Must be self-initiated team player with strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills capable of prioritizing multiple complex problems and meeting deadlines, professional with advanced oral and written communication skills, Intermediate/advanced level word-processing, spreadsheet, project management and PC software skills required. Must be able to work flexible hours including occasional overnight travel, overtime, weekends, and participate in after hours on call support.
