Insight Global is looking for a Lead BI Systems Administrator for one of our largest clients within the healthcare industry in Northfield, IL. The primary focus of the Lead BI Systems Administrator is to support BI applications and systems as well as use application performance monitoring tools to evaluate and take real time action to ensure continuity of these systems. The ideal candidate will have had strong leadership experience as mentoring, training and guiding others to ensue effective use of BI systems is another main responsibility.

* 4+ years of experience in progressive Business Intelligence and Systems Admin Roles

* Previous leadership experience or senior level experience

o 60% hands on technical, 40% lead responsibilities

* Experience leading and conducting Business Objects and/or Tableau server upgrades and maintenance activities or equivalent

* Advanced knowledge of Tableau

* Strong SQL experience — foundational knowledge

* Demonstrated proficiency for resolving system performance and capacity issues

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related Information Technology field

* Demonstrated experience working cross functionally and communicating with different teams/departments
