One of Insight Global's large Financial Services clients is looking for a QA Analyst to join their team. This is a direct hire, permanent role. Our client is in the process of building out a formal QA team to support their Enterprise Applications division. In order to remain competitive, theyve started to move from commercial off-shelf applications to custom, in-house developed applications. They are in need of a tester/analyst who can come in and manage the QA program and testing for this new software development as they aim to revamp their digital presence. There are several projects underway currently, include an Online Account Origination project that will be undergoing functional changes as well as enhancements to the UX/UI experience. Another project underway is a Branch Platform software update that touches all of their branches, impacting many departments across the company they need someone who can come in and oversee the QA portion of the development for this project. There is a managing component to this role as the client builds out a formal QA Team, including managing the build-out of this program and eventually the opportunity to manage people on the team. When you start this role, you will be the sole QA resource for their Enterprise Application Services team. We are looking for someone with a broad QA background, with experience testing in-house developed or platform-developed software/applications. This is a true software QA role you will be testing more than non -functional requirements, as our client is moving from commercial, off -shelf applications to custom, in-house developed software applications. Its important youre familiar with the full spectrum of testing, from development to production. Youll be doing regression testing, UAT testing, functionality testing, and pushing the applications to production. Youll manage and oversee testing for the development team, working to automate and create a fluid process for testers to run tests, collecting stats and reporting on data.
Experience with SDLC, understanding how to take written test cases from development groups
Experience integrating CI/CD
COIT and ITIL training or experience
Supervisory or leadership/management experience
Bachelors Degree in IT or a related field
3+ years of experience with the full QA testing cycle, leading or being a part of a software development team or program
Working with developers for unit testing, regression testing, UAT testing, functionality testing, UI/UX testing
Experience testing in-house developed software or platform-developed applications
Strong vendor support and collaboration experience for application enhancements and implementation
Strong documentation experience, process flows, requirements writing, and more.
