Job DescriptionENSCO Avionics, Inc. has exciting opportunities for Avionics Software Engineers skilled in software development for embedded avionic Electronic Attack control systems. This position is at the Nashua, New Hampshire site. The position will focus on the development and testing of avionic C code using DO-178C standards. The position will include a mix of requirements review, software development, simulation testing, and system level testing in avionic lab environment. Candidate will be required to lead, mentor, and grow a small software team developing the complex systems. Candidate will supply the Project Manager with EVM reporting data for project performance elements. The work is performed at Secret Clearance level. Qualifications Required (Skills)

– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
– Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
– Software experience with command line C code development
– Experience with LINUX C code development and compiler operation
– Experience with formal requirements and developing software test cases and procedures.
– Experience with elements of software task management and reporting
– Excellent verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
– Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments
– Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Secret Security Clearance for which you must be a U.S. Citizen. You will not be considered if you do not meet this requirement.

– Experience with Earned Value Metric (EVM) tools such as Project and Discoverer
– Experience with Embedded processor tools such as VxWorks and Greenhills
– Experience with DO-178C Software Development Cycle
– Experience with Electronic Attack Control systems
– Experience with Lab integration of control systems
