They also ensure that our data remains secure through their work in cyber-security Position Description Overview This is a leadership position for an experienced and technical security professional to focus on the Network and Cloud Security strategies and technologies within a complex and technical environment. This candidate will be the Network and Cloud Security Director. Job Responsibilities o Candidate to run newly built Network and Cloud Security program. o Resource will be responsible for creating and driving Cyber Security Network and Cloud Program and team reporting directly to the VP of Cyber Engineering Global Data Protection. o Candidate to focus on limiting exposure of services FDC is using without proper guidance, exposing us from a legal, compliance, content management and data loss perspective. o Assess and provide defensive measures and process to mitigate exposures and drive cloud security framework throughout the enterprise working with technology, business and app/dev towers. o Aggregate and work though data from current toolset output engaging cross internal/external towers Scope of Job The candidate should possess a broad-based and in-depth knowledge of network and cloud technologies and concepts, along with complex network and cloud security technologies, tools and methodologies. The candidate must have a strong technical security background, communicate effectively and understand development methodology within the cloud environment and how to apply in a large diverse and global environment. Autonomy Allocates resources to support IT strategy. Requires minimal direction from manager on hiring, firing, performance reviews and compensation administration. Resolves routine issues. Escalates serious issues to more senior management. Job Requirements o Candidate must have working knowledge of AWS, Google and Azure cloud offerings o Candidate must have strong working knowledge of network security technologies and concepts Candidate must be highly ethical and act honorably, honestly, responsibly, and legally o Candidate must be able to weigh business needs against security concerns and articulate issues to customers and management o Candidate will need to provide leadership and guidance on how to design, implement, maintain, and deliver network and cloud security services for a diverse global environment o Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting information to groups o Candidate must have strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills o Candidate must be able to manage time and priorities with multiple tasks and projects o Candidate must be able to influence others in a positive, goal-directed manner o Requires 10+ years of related technical and business experience. o Masters Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications. o Must have CCIE network certification equivalent work experience o AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Windows and UNIX/Linux/AIX/MAC/Mainframe Defense in depth strategies and how global security infrastructures and services are deployed. o Network security fundamentals. o Knowledge of network protocols, data flows, and vulnerabilities within a TCP/IP environment. o Knowledge of Data Centric Security Models and Methodology o A solid understanding of cyber security technologies with actual experience in security program management and methodology o Fundamental knowledge of firewalls, networks, operating systems, databases, and storage preferred o Knowledge and understanding of defense in depth, layered network and data security architectures o Knowledge and understanding of pertinent life cycle management methodologies Competencies o Industry Knowledge First Data is an Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity Employer(Minorities/Females/Vets/Disabled/LGBT)
