Careers that Change Lives This position is responsible for leading a services-based delivery model including technical architecture, development, testing, and support. The role will be accountable for management of the team in terms of staff, project implementations, day-to-day support operations, and financials. The appropriate candidate will be required to demonstrate a commitment towards continuous improvement and operational excellence with tangible outcomes in terms of people, process, and technology. Leader is accountable for the processes of taking requirements, developing and configuring systems, ensuring quality, and transition of that work to production environments. Manage the development of strategies and roadmaps, as well as tactical execution of operations Manages department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and staff. Responsible for providing direction, leadership and coaching to staff to meet schedules, resolve technical or operational problems. Design, plan and implement a global service delivery model and identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies in the service delivery processes. Obtain detailed understanding of business operations, and bring the IT vision and goals to business stakeholders to ensure we are utilizing current capabilities, as well as developing new capabilities where necessary and prudent. Assembles and collaborates alongside subject matter experts across teams, in order to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent issues. Collaborates closely with business and other IT teams to govern releases, manage support queues, deliver services within SLAs, and establish operating policies/procedures to mitigate risk Collaborating with internal and external sourcing partners to drive appropriate staff models in terms of quality orientation, ability to deliver value, and enhance operational efficiencies. Responsible for demand intake, resource planning, and staff management to accomplish initiatives. Responsible for KPI & Metrics management, as well as continuous improvement to drive operational excellence and "best in class" function. Govern day-to-day activities of staff including providing framework to advise, mentor, and train to maximize effectiveness and efficiencies. Build partnerships with external technology vendors and internal technology business partners to optimize service delivery. Must Have: Minimum Requirements EDUCATION REQUIRED Bachelor’s Degree YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 7+ years of IT experience with a Bachelors Degree 5+ years of IT experience with a Masters Degree Nice to Have: Experience leading services based organizations including day-to-day operations and implementing strategies. Demonstrated ability to manage finances (plan vs. actual), develop/govern staff, implement continuous improvement, and achieve success in a complex, fast-paced environment Strong leadership skills with ability to enhance operational excellence, deploy strategies and develop talent into a high-performing organization High degree of technical acumen with exposure to broad set of technologies and ability to learn quickly Ability to build credible relationships with diverse group of peers and stakeholders across matrix organization Strong analytical thinking, intuitive behavior, process improvement and problem solving skills Experience working directly with senior management to develop strategies, influence direction, and negotiate solutions to drive maximum value to business. Experience with developing and governing global staff models in terms of determining appropriate source (contract vs. employee), cost/risk/benefit analysis, knowledge management, cultivating a productive team environment to enhance operations, and career development Must be experienced in effort estimation techniques, presenting different pricing models based on demand Governing vendor relationships in terms of cost containment, deriving maximum value for business, and creating win-win scenarios Good communication skills (oral, business writing, presentations and listening) Experience within a regulated/validated environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
