The Keefe Group Project Manager will execute and deploy large complex technology implementation projects for state correctional agencies. The success of the deployment is accomplished by managing the various facets of the project through the implementation phase. The role involves extensive customer interaction, coordination with teams responsible for the actual delivery of tasks, and ensuring that the project plan directs the priority of activities and reflects current status of implementation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prioritize and manage multiple complex projects within time, technical, and resource constraints. * Co-develop solution development plan by coordinating the individual sub-project plans of the various software, database and infrastructure teams. * Synchronize the project plan with the customer’s Project Manager (PM), so that both ATG and customer resources are working on the same timelines * Develop and maintain the Project Plan using Microsoft Project, that has a detailed work breakdown structure (WBS). * Responsible for completing the PMBOK Project Management Documents. The actual information will be collected and provided by the appropriate ATG team. * Identify risks and work with appropriate team to mitigate the risk. * Regularly communicate with customer’s PM to manage customer expectations, coordinately deliverables and ensure common understanding of project status. * Escalate potential serious issues to senior management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Minimum Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelors plus 4-6 years’ experience, or Associates 10 years’ experience. PMP certification highly desired. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid driver’s license. The employee will occasionally be required to walk, reach, stoop, and kneel. The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
