Through collaboration with all relevant departments, the Project Manager oversees projects from ideation until market launch. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of the project by meeting agreed upon project deliverables and objectives. He/ She is responsible for controlling all aspect of the project(s), including selecting and organizing the project teams, communication of all relevant information to stakeholders, managing risks and expectations, and ensuring proper project documentation. Tasks: * Overall planning and management of new product projects with alignment to the BSH product development process (PDP) * Multi-site coordination activities for globally sourced/ managed projects. * Conducting of risk management and escalation in projects. * Project reporting to all relevant stakeholders (including Project Review Meetings (PRM), Supply/Demand Meetings (SDM), and other relevant management meetings) to align all project targets and report project status. * Creation of project application requests (PARs) and management through approval process. * Coordination, organization, and management of project teams. * Manages overall information flow among internal and external stakeholders (including Development, Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Controlling) * Supports the Manager of Technical Product Management in the successful preparation of product strategy, roadmapping, and innovations management including alignment of the RNA roadmap with the global roadmap. * Uses relevant tools for tracking and managing project data. * Perform all other duties as assigned. Rights/ Responsibilities: * Overall responsible for project related decisions, instructions, supervision, and escalations * Defines work packages for assigned project resources * Responsible for balancing project budget and resources * Maintains access to all necessary information for management and implementation of the project * Responsible for successful implementation of product, quality, EBIT, milestones and budget targets * Overall management of project until project closure (M8) Qualifications * Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Wirtschaftsingenieur. * Project Management Certification a plus. * Must be team oriented and flexible. * Must have good communication and negotiation skills. * Must be able to travel internationally. * Proficiency with Microsoft products, especially Power Point, Excel, and MS Project. * Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks and be prompt in meeting deadlines. * Any of the above requirements/qualifications may be waived for the successful candidate. * Bi-lingual (English/German) a plus. * Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people up to and including upper management. * Negotiation skills. * Must be able to work well with people in other departments under difficult and sometimes stressful circumstances. * Knowledge of Product Development processes. * Strategic scenario evaluation based on multiple disciplines (Controlling, Engineering, Manufacturing, ID, etc). * Project leadership experience. * Project controlling experience. * Project Management, Management Proficiency, Process Improvement, Self-Development, Performance Management, Process Development/Implementation.
