Sales Force PM Roles and Responsibilities
Day to Day job Duties:
Manage scope of projects from inception to closure.
Ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope, and mitigate risks.
Experience with projects involving enterprise-wide application suites and multiple business functions.
Customer Satisfaction – Strive to achieve a reference able result from each project. Obtain a client satisfaction rating if applicable and achieve a score at or exceeding corporate target benchmark if applicable.
Clearly define and articulate project risk items to client in a way that the risks are understood.
Quality Management – Manage the project consultants’ deliverables of configuration, development and methodology to project standards. Promote teamwork and culture of accountability.
Provide quality project deliverables including kickoff presentations, project plans, status reports, budget burn reports, and deployment plans. Manage requirements and design documentation.
Assist in quality testing the application prior to user testing.
Must have solid understanding of foundational object-oriented programming and software development.
Must have strong working knowledge of software build and release management processes. Attention to detail. Ability to develop relationships with clients and internal teams. Ability to manage cross-functional teams across multiple professional disciplines
Ability to travel as needed.
Experience managing projects through entire SDLC using MS Project and project management tools.
6+ years of software project management experience preferably on enterprise-level project implementations, in a management consulting organization if possible. Grasp of cloud-based tools, techniques, systems, and solutions required.
Bachelor’s college/university four year degree (preferably in Computer Science or Business NA experience is a plus. Project management certification a plus. NA certifications are a plus.
2+ years -Must have broad knowledge of custom application development in CRM / SFDC applications. For SaaS NA (SFDC) practice, work with SFDC developers and architect on client engagement.
Strong written and oral English communication skills. Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, with deliverables of high quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced, hectic, dynamic and high-energy market segment.
