Application Support Analyst

Position Description
CGI is looking for an Application Support Analyst with application support experience to join our team. This candidate will serve as a technical/cyber security analyst of a large-scale digital technology project consisting of both on-shore and off-shore presence. The resource will be providing the level 2 support to multiple applications which ensures quality to the project deliverables. The member should participate in issue bridges to coordinate the client communications and to provide updates. Will work closely with management teams on critical activities, planning and trainings. Supported applications spread across multiple technologies including the ready to scale new technologies.

Your future duties and responsibilities
o Application support experience with troubleshooting issues including analyzing the log files.
o Should be able to participate critical issue calls and help team to resolve the issues.
o Research and replicate the user experience to validate the solutions
o Resolve and transition ETL related issues that team currently unable to solve.
o Provide technical solutions to problems encountered in the team.
o Provide innovative ideas and solution to complex as well as rather simple looking problems
o Should be flexible to extended and weekend hours during critical timelines to provide the periodical oversights.
o Should be able to work in business hour overlapping shifts for critical meetings and activities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 2 – 5 years of experience on support/analysis.
• Knowledge of database (PL/SQL, Oracle, DB2)
• Experience in digital technologies and monitoring tools
• Good knowledge of Windows, Linux server configurations.
• Researches and evaluates alternative technical solutions
• Demonstrated ability to propose the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
• Experience on cyber security concepts and analytics
• Experience on monitoring tools like Dynatrace, DT Managed, GlassBox, ITCAMS, TrueSight, OEM
• Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must.
