University Counseling Services Oklahoma State University Contingent Upon Available Funding In the absence of the Director of University Counseling Services, this individual performs the administrative duties required of the Director. This includes administration and oversite of the Student Counseling Center, Alcohol and Substance Abuse Center, Student Disability Services and the Reboot Center. Provides direct psychological, career and educational services for students through individual counseling, group counseling, and crisis intervention. This staff member performs administrative responsibilities as well as the training and supervision of staff of all UCS departments as needed. Provides emergency and crisis intervention, consultation to members of the university community and the Stillwater community. Provision and development of educational outreach programs and the supervision of practicum and intern graduate students.
Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Psychology, in Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Five years of experience in supervision and coordination of daily activities in a Counseling Center. Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired. The proven ability to collaborate successfully with multiple departments.
Salary: $4,800 to $7,200 per month, based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include employer contributions to Oklahoma Teacher’s Retirement System or to an Alternative Retirement Plan administered by TIAA, health insurance, and group life insurance.
