Insight Global is actively seeking a Secret Cleared C++ Developer to join the team of one of our Federal clients in the Charleston, SC area. (This is a direct hire/permanent opportunity working fully onsite due to the nature of work).

This individual will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

– Developing and coding with C++ and Python on Linux platforms

– Developing Bash scripts on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

– Developing IA/Security patches for RHEL including vendor packages and STIGs

-Agile experience

-Experience with Navy IT-21 networks using ADNS and CANES

-Knowledge of virtualization technologies using ESX VMWare and Microsoft -Windows Hyper-V

-Knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
-Active DoD Secret Clearance

-5+ years of C/C++ software development experience

-3+ years' experience with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred)

-BS Degree in Computer Science or related degree

-CompTIA Security+ CE or similar security certification
