Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems – Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) has an immediate opportunity for an early-career Systems Engineer to support Electronic Warfare (EW) development in Goleta, CA. This is an excellent career opportunity for individuals with some experience in Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Surveillance (ES), related systems engineering design and analysis, performing trade studies, performance analysis, requirements flow down, requirements management, document and technical presentations to customers. The EW System Design team brings together many technical competencies to develop next generation EW products. The candidate will assist in modeling and analysis of one or more of the following concepts: EA/EP interactions, resource management effectiveness, advanced adversary IADS, Airborne tactical datalinks, EW Battle Management, and advanced electronic attack concepts. The candidate will work closely with EW capture teams to describe the performance of EW systems operating in realistic CONOPS. The candidate will support the proposal generation, perform system analysis, concept and configuration refinement and effectiveness analysis for a broad range of EW applications. The candidate will need to be able to work with the customer to understand mission needs and requirements. Candidate will be responsible for producing system specifications for EW product lines along with identifying product design impacts from mission analysis data. The candidate will generate mission analysis data using a mix of high and low fidelity tools to assess effectiveness of EW technology against threat systems. The candidate will support EW product development with operational analysis of future threat engagements and high fidelity assessment of EW product performance along with supporting new EW business with jammer performance predictions and MOEs. Required Skills: Minimum 4 years of experience in one or more areas of the system development lifecycle, from system requirements and system design through integration and test utilizing the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) MATLAB or similar performance analysis tools Relevant experience with detailed data and test analysis along with report generation Solid verbal and written communication skills require to support technical briefings and customer engagements Solid understanding of Operational Analysis experience and knowledge Must be a U.S. Citizen with Active (or active within past 24 months) DoD Secret Clearance. Desired Skills: Electronic Warfare knowledge and experience with understanding of threat systems, mission analysis, and Concept of Operations Works independently, determines & develops approach to solutions Experience in proposal development supporting technical volume generation along with generation of cost estimate for detail tasking MATLAB or similar performance analysis tools Rhapsody and other modeling environments DOORS and other requirements management applications Brawler, AFSIM, ESAMS, Suppressor, and other mission analysis tools Required Education: BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM); advanced degree(s) preferred This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. 112940
