JOB SUMMARY:

Performs system design, programming, testing, documentation, and implementation for a large development project. Coordinates with system risers and management, writes specifications for systems and develops software. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:

50% – Essential – Programming: Develops code that meets functional specifications, units tests custom solutions, communicates with technical lead or projec tmanager regarding deliverable progress and quality. Analyzes bugs and implements timely resolutions.

30%- Essential – Specification Development: Translates functional specifications into technical specifications. Creates technical specifications that are used by developers and are made available to support functional specifications.

20% – Essential – Project Management: Manages scope, schedule, and budget to ensure custom requirements are delivered on time, of appropriate quality, and within the stated scope.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software. An associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Not responsible for supervising employees.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Budget Responsibilities – No fiscal responsibility for the department’s budget.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sit (stationary position) for prolonged period; Communicate, converse, give direction, express oneself; Recognize or inspect visually
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years’ experience in modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software.
WORK SCHEDULE:

Standard Hrs: 37.5; Band: 06 ($ 53,800 – $ 65,000)
