With a focus on assisting high school students in finding the best college that suits their unique requirements, whether they be financial, personal, or educational needs, we are currently collaborating with a major company in the education technology sector. In order to provide the best experience for the students, they have a two-fold system that provides greater support resources to both college admissions counselors and high school guidance counselors.

This role is full time, fully remote. You will be working mainly with the Backend team on these applications using Golang or Node. Previous experience with Golang isn't required, just a good open source language. This role is also a good opportunity to learn Golang if interested.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience working as a primarily Fullstack or Backend focused Developer
• Proficient with Golang or another open source language (Node, Python, etc.)
• Ability to interface with the Design and Frontend teams
• Clear communication, both written and verbal

Desired Skills & Experience

• BS in CS or equivalent related work experience
• Previously part of a start up
• Javascript/React if experienced in Fullstack Development
