Position Description
CGI is looking for .Net developer experienced in C#, ASP.NET, the .NET framework and SQL Server who have a passion for solving problems. Your future duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Software development using .Net Core (C#, ASP.Net)
• Design and develop high performance web application and web API.
• Use state of the art frontend technologies like HTML/CSS/LESS, XML, JavaScript, Typescript and NPM to develop highly available applications that can scale to deliver customer facing applications
• Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality software delivery, sprint after sprint. Leverage automation testing methods to increase test coverage and build confidence in our continuous delivery pipeline.
• Be an effective contributor to our agile teams. Participate vigorously in SCRUM ceremonies and help the team to get to "done-done" consistently.
• Collaborate on effective development practices and evangelize within and across teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
This is an intermediate level position with a bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant technical experience required. Successful candidates will possess:
• 8+ Years' experience with software Development with .Net technologies
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, XML, HTML5, CSS3, .NET Core, Web API 2 (micro services), C#, Git etc.
• Working Knowledge of MS SQL server technologies.
• Working Knowledge on Unit Testing framework like Jasmine and Karma.
• Strong leadership and collaborative skills with willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
• Must be able to work without assistance
• Superior analytical and problem-solving and resolution skills, and ability to adapt quickly.
• Self-motivation and strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to tackle challenging work situations and to resolve conflicts in a positive manner.
• Strong communications (verbal and written) skills and solid technical writing experience.

Experience with the following a plus:

Knowledge of .Net Framework, Silverlight is good to have.
