Job Summary

Gather requirements from internal Product manager as well as UI/UX Designer.

Work directly with external customers and internal PMO to gather and define project requirements as well as use-case scenarios.

Perform analysis of gathered requirements considering availability of 3rd party as well as in-house API suite endpoints.

Work with product manager and technical project leads to Identify and resolve impediments to required development.

Implement software solutions using ServiceNow tools and best-practices.

Developer testing using Automatic Testing Framework.

Analysis

Works with Application Architect to implement the road-map for long term re-architecture of applications and ensure the development teams are properly aligned to the strategy, standards, and framework.

Gather requirements from internal Product manager as well as UI/UX

Application Systems and Services Development

Designs, develops, implements and tests Enterprise and E-Commerce related applications, order fulfillment systems and services using ServiceNow technologies

Collaborates with other engineers, developers, analysts and business team members.

Fixes defects and resolve issues

Follows defined policies, processes and procedures

Implement software solutions using ServiceNow tools and best-practices

Other

Reviews technical literature, attends meetings and training opportunities, and keeps-up-to-date on emerging technologies related to information systems and their proper use.

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience

Degree requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience

Major if applicable:

Degree in Business Administration, IT, or Computer Science.

Certifications, Licenses or Registrations required, if any:

Minimum years of career experience to qualify for role:

Includes a minimum of 5 year(s) of work experience in progressively responsible roles in an IT management role with practical experience in Reseller Sales channels, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, Retail, and Financial Business Systems, or systems solutions industry

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Technology

Experience working with Relational DB’s primarily MySQL

ServiceNow hands-on development / implementation / deployment and administration a plus.

Service now implementation experience in ITSM modules a plus.

Ability to render forms and lists as well as customize UI and pages using Jelly Scripting a plus.

Experience in development of custom ServiceNow modules a plus.

Exposure and strong familiarity with other modules incl. Asset Management a plus.

Hands-on experience with Glide APIs/Classes a plus.

Hands on experience developing using Java Script, HTML, XML, AJAX, JSON,CSS3

Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs using (SOAP, REST, SSO) a plus.

Identify existing deficiencies and recommend solutions

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public

Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle

Understanding of all the four phases of ServiceNow discovery (Scan, identify, classify and exploration)

Understanding of source control integration using Git.

Ensure consistency across multiple environments including development, testing and production.

Participate in ongoing end user support.

Understanding of Code review concepts.

(optional) Certified ServiceNow Administrator, Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist, Developer Certification Computer Science or CIS/MIS.
