Storage/Network Engineer

Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for a Storage/Network Engineer that can act as an expert level trend performance analyst and in-depth problem solver, leveraging their expertise in NetApp, Security, Cloud, and Networking. The position will reside within a team of expert infrastructure engineers and will be specifically responsible for providing Storage and Networking Consulting. A strong background and experience with NetApp's core technologies and significant experience of system optimizations is required to be successful in this role. The candidate will be required serve as leader to several critical environments, act as subject matter expert to system performance analysis and to provide high touch administrative service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify ways to drive optimization and efficiencies for current NetApp Infrastructures (On-Prem, Hybrid, Cloud)
• Provide administration for current NetApp Infrastructures (On-Prem, Hybrid, Cloud)
• Provide NetApp support to location's Information Technology teams: Cloud, Networking, Application Development, Help Desk, and Virtualization
• Provide daily monitoring and manage the health/performance of location's NetApp ONTAP storage systems Integration and installation for new HW and SW products
• Provide insights and corrective measure to unsatisfactory performing storage environments through use of Native NetApp performance Monitoring Toolset

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,000 – $151,000.

• NetApp FAS AFF & E-Series Various
• NetApp ONTAP 9.0> OS
• NetApp SANTricity OS
• NetApp OnCommand Insight – OCI
• Cloud Volumes ONTAP – NetApp BlueXP CVO (AWS, AZURE & GCP)
• NetApp StorageGrid – Administration & Design

Strong Secondary Experience:
• Red Hat OpenShift configuration
• Containers Configurations & Micro Architecture Design

Desired Qualifications:
• Fluent is Briefings, MS 365 Products, Excellent Verbal and written Skills, Organized and a team Player
• Cisco/Brocade Networking Administration
• AWS, AZURE, GCP Administration and Configurations
